I grew up in San francisco, California. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Enigneering with a focus in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Life Update

June

Started Dev/Mission Pre-Apprenteship program. It consist of 10 week of intensive IT sklils. Classes take place Monday to Thursday from 4pm - 7pm. Still working with the same non-profit organization but I got to learn new skill in troubleshooting iPads and ChromeBooks.

What did I learn:
  • HTML Coding
  • CSS Styles sheet
  • Arduino C++
  • Using GitHub & VScode
  • Wiring Breadboard
  • Making LED shine simliar to traffic lights
  • Using Bootstrap

    Finished 4 weeks of Dev/Mission Pre-Apprenteship program. I've learned so much about C++ and CSS. July is going to be a fast month. With July 4th weekend, I'm gonna get to dog sit with my sister. Got accepted into HumanMade Engineering program. Excited to start at the end of the month.

    What did I learn:
  • Used NeoPixel for the first time
  • Coded NeoPixel ring to display random colors/patterns
  • JavaScript
  • PC storage and difference of each component
  • Taking apart a PC 2nd week of July
  • Started using OLED and LCD in IoT class
  • Experiment with ultrasonic sensor measuring distance
  • Created a project that simulates traffic lights

    Work Experience

    Mechanical Test Engineer Intern

    - Worked under supervision of Test engineer completing test project
    - Prototyped multiple variation of shims for outdoor unit bell mouth

    Workshift Manager

    - Create and Manage work schedule for a house of 64 student
    - Connect with other staff members to coordinate workshift training

    Maintenance Manager/Habitability Manager

    - Conduct safety checks around housing units and schedule maintenence work
    - Ensure unit is safe from fire hazards and meets health standards

    Network Manager

    - Route network cable and ensure network access to all resident
    - Provide cybersecurity training workshop for a house of 24 students

    IT Support Coordinator

    - Provide IT support to high school students and staff who are using MacBooks, iPads, and Chromebooks
    - Facilitate Apple Bytes workshops 3 times a week using Swift coding language

    Club/Volunteer Experience

    Cal AERO SAE Club

    Aero SAE
    - First remote control club in Berkeley
    - Built remote controled aircraft withh a team of 20 other student and compete first week of April every year


    Society of Women Engineer (SWE)

    Society of Women Engieer
    - Part of committee that provided engineering exposure for middle and high schoolers
    - Community of women engineer in UC Berkeley that is also part of a nation wide chapter

    - Berkeley ASME is the American Society of Mechanical Engineers College chapter
    - Each semester we host a CADathon that bring people with different experince to complete a CADing task over the course of the entire day

    Medicine did not come to me naturally but with the influence of my sister, I have grown to enjoy looking through medical article and look through surgery that have been completed. I also had a chance to visit a operating room while I was in New Jersy for a summer class
